drinking by the pond

so my friend kim and where out to lunch today and we had some extra time so i decided to go over to my grandparents, who happen to live really close to my job, and check out the pond-side chill spot my uncles have built. We get down there and its a little muddy, so i was like, crap what if we get stuck, so i reversed, and than one of my uncles comes out from the garage to see what i was doing. I told him i wanted to check it out, i told him how i did want to get stuck and than he laughed at me beucse i have a jeep wrangler with 4wd and would never get stuck. So we go down, have a couple of beers and enjoy the weather. We do however smell like fire right now because the one from last night was still smoking. All in all, possiably the best lunch break we ever had.

Finer Things club

i got a new calender for my office and it is a "Office" calender, the tv show. which i love so much and i love jim sooo much and now i know it is fate that we are supposed to be together because he is featured on the month of my birth, which is June. SO that's good news for me, now i dont have to wonder who will be my husband.

Monsoon......

So i have been playing a lot of guitar hero world tour latley and there is a song on there called "Monsoon" by Toyko Hotel. We finally had to play it at one of our gigs and i ended up loving it. Its currently my favorite song and i have listened to it non-stop today. Im gonna go with 25-30 times. I still do not know all the words though, which is kinda making me mad.

Paint it...

i am moving my office to across the hall. Its longer so im gonna put my desk in the back end of it, so people will not be able to stare at me when they walk by. It will also be clutch for watching tv.

I have been attempting the move since December but have not done it because i have not been able to decide on a paint choice. I am thinking either harvest orange or blue-ish teal.

Suggestions?

Keep in mind that i work at a printing company and want to keep it colorful!

seeing eye glasses

do you tink its bad that i have prescribed myself my sister's old glasses to myself. I see so much better with tem so tey must be ok. (that is in my Irish voice, that Lindsey's BF taught me)

Dear God,

How can my hair still be this thick when i shed like a dog? Actually probably more than a dog. What shed more than a dog? I must loose over a 100 strands or more everyday. I just don't see how this is possible.

And another thing, what in the world possessed you to give me a sore throat for 8 days! What did I do to you? I am a pretty decent person. The receptionist at work said this has nothing to do with you. I do NOT believe her.

I LOVE GUITAR HERO/ROCK BAND!!!. It has only taken me about 3 years to get the timing thing down but i have done it and know i am addicted. I can not stop thinking about it. For the past two days i have had s sore muscle in my left forearm, all you fellow players know what im talking about. If anyone know a workout that i can do to strength this "GH" muscle please let me know.
Im also pretty sure i felt the skin being rubbed off on the green/red/yellow fingers. But i do not care. It's clear to me now that i was put on the planet to ROCK, so this is what i must do.

It's icy out there

Yah, almost killed someones cat this am. I was driving to work, still in my neighborhood - called "the grove" - all the streets are pretty much sheets of ice, when this cat runs out in front of me. Mind you, i was the only car on the rode but no, he had to dart out in front of my car and i slammed on the breaks but i just kept going forward. The lucky little bugger must of made it cause i did not fell a speed bump.

Miso bored

So i have finished the 8 books of Confessions of GN. There is an 9th but but i cant find it in any book stores, so i think i might need to order it online. It's quite a cliff hanger so i have got to get this in asap. Im at work and i do have two things that i could work on but im just not in the mood. I am not motavated to do anything even the FB is borning me.

I am really obsessed with the song "Untouched" by these aussie twins "The Veronicas. " I have listend to it about 50 times today on non-stop repeat.

Random thoughts

My work dad - a.k.a. the irish werewolf , has bought me an "unbreakable" ice scraper. He was telling me that more snow is come and i was like - crap, i better get a scraper, i never think of it till we have snow and than its to late and i have to brush the snow off with my arm - which is not fun.
SO he surprised me with one on my desk when i got back from lunch. Know i just have to remeber to bring it to my car.

I am in love with this song "your english is good" by the tokoyo police or somthing but i really only know the one line and its gets stuck in head - so i have been walking around work singing "your english is gooddddd" not the best idea when there are a lot of NON- english speaking people around.

ONE OF MY CO-WORKERS JUST WALKED BY MY OFFICE AND said "im like a goat" to someone on the phone - kinda funny

I have been compromised

SO i try to use my atm card last night at the bar i was at and it would not work - so i had to wait till this am to call and see what was up. They said a bunch of people had been compromised - so they canceled my card and now i have to leave off cash for a week or so. This is a huge deal to me. I never have cash, and my bank only has one branch, so basiclly know i have to rush to the back after work today and take out enough cash to get me throught the weekend. I really hate this.

SO, i sent HIM a message via myspace this morning. I was temporally going mad, i very much regret it now. I have been obsessively checking my sent box like every 10 minutes to see if it has been read yet. It has not. I might die from suspense.

I must clean my handbag out right now. I can not find anything in there. i Hate receipts. They just make my bag a complete and utter mess. Poo.

Easy mac is whack!

so i bought easy mac to have for lunch at work and it totally sucks! It barley has any flavor. Oh well, i went shopping today on my lunch break at bath and body - the semi annual sale, and bought tons of lotions, lip glosses, and body scrubs. As is i needed any more.

I can't wait to get out of here, i can been dragging ass all day, and i had a pretty decent sleep. The main problem, is that i was having a really good dream but the alarm went off before it got great. It was one of those dreams that feels real and i really wish it was but all it has done is set me back about one week of getting over "him." So i have been in a crap mood today.

On the bright side, Gossip girl is on in a few hours.

My 4th resolution

ok, i need to stop hitting the snooze button 4 times every morning. Getting up at 7:55am is just to late to get to work by 8:30am. Even though i made great time today - 8:34am, and i left my casa at 8:16. I kinda amaze myself sometimes.

This has to stop. I told myself yesterday was the last time but im a snooze addict.

I wonder is there is SA (snooze anonymous)?

So much for not being able to write in the am. I'm avoiding my real work.

Water Challenge 2009

So, my worrk BFF and I have amde a pact of drinking the recommed daily water intake. i have been meaning to start this for a while but have not gotten around to it, mostly because is make me have to go to the piddly diddly department about one thousand times a day. But due to being sick of hangovers and having my skin begging me for moisture, its something i must do.

So i started today, as of right now, i have put down about 11oz. (my water bottle has measurements) only 53 more to go. I can do it, even if i have to have a chug fest.

This is just one of my many resolutions. Some others are, of course, workout more, which i have not been super dedicated to but i am going to Zumba (Latin/hip-hop dance class) tonight.

Another one is do more reading. Pretty much a slam dunk, i am obsessed with this book series "COnfessions of Geogia Nicolson." It about the britsh teenager, she is quite the wise ass - the main reason why i love her so much. There are 8 books, i am on #5 right now . And i just found out there was a movie made on the first book - released in July 08 in Britian but there has been any info on a release in the US. WTF.

And the last one is this blog, i need to use more brain juice daily. I was going to try write two times a day, but it's really hard for me to think of stuff in the am. Let's just say i am not a morning person. So for know i will write at least once a day M-F.

i am suffering from this major. I have been hanging out with some kids from high school lately and it has turned me back into my former boy crazy lunatic-self. I can't escape it. im trying to by distracting my self i.e., starting a blog, cleaning my room but nothing seems to work? suggestions?

had a very interesting start to my day, per usu, i was running a little bit late to work, which is not a big deal but just as i was crossing the train tracks, I see Artie (boss/owner) coming around the corner. Crap. SO i pull in after him, we both get out at the same time, and than he starts running to the door and and shouting " I can't get there after Heidi." And so i started running but he beat me because i was scared of falling. Pretty funny.

i have a shocking amount of energy this morning. Very unlike me. My co-worker just told me it's because there is a full moon on Saturday. We'll see about that. He is a full moon freak, maybe he is part Irish werewolf or something, this is not the first time he has talked about it.

Another co-worker told me to be expecting to crash in a few hours. I will also see about that.

The smell of winter almost killed me

so, a while ago i but the "Winter" room spray for the office. i have a small office so one spritz is enough. something just went very wrong with it as i have suffocated myself with the festive blend of shimmering pine, crisp bay leaf, red cinnamon, and warm winter woods. must go find something to so for 5 minutes .

sarsfields - soon to be no more

so this bar in Qunicy, Sarsfields (Clash of the Ash). is closing in the next few weeks. This is very bad. We go there at least one weekend night a week. Its more than just your average pub, it has a good size dance floor and a great mix of dance jams. It's the type of place that you can totally dance like a lunatic and not care. what we are going to do .There is no other place like this. i repeat. this is a very bad thing.

What the heck happended last night? Where did the sheets of ice come from? Doesn't MN know that i did not buy a new ice scraper yet. I broke mine over the summer and still have not replaced it yet. I should get on that.
Much to busy to do it tonight. Gossip girl is back and i am hosting a viewing party. Still have stuff to do for it.
